Known Unreal Engine 5 concept artist TeaserPlay is working on a brand-new UE5-powered horror game - Homeless.
Late last year we reported that the artist and his two-man studio DarkPhobia Games were working on atmospheric horror title Graveyard Shift. This game is now available via Steam and has been positively received. Fast forward eight months, and TeaserPlay has now announced that he's working on Homeless - a horror title set in New York in the 90s. In the game, players play as security guard Albert, patrolling the subway tunnels during which he encountering a rather sinister individual. Gameplay mechanics for Homeless include investigation, puzzle-solving, exploration, and occasional gun-play. "As communication lines go down, you find yourself trapped with a flesh-eating predator, you must navigate the new York streets and subway corridors, uncover The Vulture's dark past, and stop him before becoming his next meal", the description of Homeless reads.
"The gameplay emphasizes the player's sense of responsibility as a security guard. The level design is intended to make the player feel like a real security guard. You'll need to check CCTV, patrol the area, and investigate suspicious activity like a real security guard."
