Mythic+ Affix Tuning on The War Within Beta - Voidbound Buffed, New Oblivion Affix?
This week's War Within Beta build includes some Mythic+ affix tuning, including a potential new Oblivion affix, and a buff to the Voidbound affix!
Fortified
As mentioned in a Blue Post earlier, Blizzard has nerfed Fortified from 30% bonus damage of trash to 20%.
Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound
Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound has been buffed and every 3 seconds that the Void Emissary stays alive now buffs nearby mobs by 10% per stack (was 5% per stack). Most of the time, the Void Emissary will get at least one cast off, if not two, so this change basically undoes the Fortified change above.
Upon the Void Emissary's defeat, the void energy envelops players, granting them Blessing from Beyond, increasing their critical chance by 20% for 20 sec. This effect stacks.
New Affix — Xal'alath's Bargain: Oblivion?
There's also a brand new placeholder affix in the data for this build, . While we don't know much about this affix other than its Icon, there is something interesting in the spell data that may or may not be related.
We've found a new spell added in this build called Xal'atath's Bargain: Oblivion which is very similar to the other affix spells Xal'atath's Bargain: Ascendant and Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound. This means that Oblivion can be another new Xal'atath affix! If Oblivion is the affix, these new «Crystal of Oblivion» spells were added in this build and may also be related — and they have interesting effects such as «Take Control of Pet» and summoning a missile of a spell that doesn't exist yet.
