Over the years, there's been a wealth of different merchandise on the market to accompany the long-running, extremely popular trading card and video games, and the anime. From plushies and statues to bags and t-shirts, there is plenty for fans to collect to show their love for the franchise. Unfortunately, however, this stock doesn't last forever, and depending on demand, certain items can sell out extremely quickly, especially if limited quantities are made.
This was the case with a series of -inspired jigsaw puzzles that were available in the Pokémon Center store in 2023. These consisted of 500-piece puzzles featuring Eevee and its evolved forms or a stunningly colorful, stunning «magical night-garden» scene where Pikachu and Mimikyu are joined by a host of other Pokémon in costumes. There were also 1,000-piece puzzles for those seeking a bit more of a challenge, with one depicting a -inspired take on Katsushika Hokusai's classic Japanese woodblock print and the other comprised of pixel sprites of the Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region.
A Pokémon card playmat featuring Porygon's evolutions has been announced for Pokémon Day 2025, half a year ahead of the event actually taking place.
These puzzles were absolutely stunning in their artwork, so it seemed like a shame when they sold out, and it seemed like they were gone forever. Fortunately, the Pokémon Center has restocked these puzzles while introducing new ones, giving fans another chance to pick them up if they missed out last year.
As for the new puzzles, one of them features a Grassy Gardening piece with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and other Pokémon surrounded by potted plants in a cozy environment. This is a nice callback to the 2021 Grassy Gardening line, which sold the likes of potted Pokémon plushies and a Squirtle-themed Squirt bottle, with several tote bags, clothing items, and more.
The full range of puzzles available on the store is as follows:
