The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom brings back series villain Ganondorf, and he will be voiced by none other than prolific voice actor and Critical Role Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer.
Mercer said on Twitter that it is an «immense honor» to play Ganondorf, adding that he hopes to be able to do the character justice in the highly anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild.

Mercer is known for voicing Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 6, Deadshot in Injustice 2, and Cole Cassidy in Overwatch, among other characters. Mercer, 40, is also a boss at Critical Role Productions.
