Elden Ring is FromSoftware's most ambitious title to date, and this becomes quite obvious when looking at the sheer scale of its open-world setting. The Lands Between is filled with hidden dungeons, optional bosses, and NPCs that players can talk to and learn from. One Elden Ring fan focused on the NPC Sorceress Sellen and discovered what she looks like with no mask on.
Sorceress Sellen is an Elden Ring NPC who can teach the player spells if they agree to become her student. Following her questline will award players with new Armor sets and spells. However, it will also bring them into conflict with Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, and the Academy of Raya Lucaria.
Elden Ring Video Shows What Happens If You Kill the Two Fingers
Redditor FreddyKrum shared screenshots of Sorceress Sellen's face textures to show what she looks like under her mask. In the game proper, Sellen is shown exclusively wearing a large stone mask over her whole head, concealing even the color of her hair. These screenshots reveal her to be a seemingly young woman with side-swept black hair, piercing blue eyes, and a thin upper lip. Elden Ring is filled with masks for NPCs and players alike, so it may interest gamers to learn that Sellen does actually have face textures under hers.
Interestingly, Sellen's face textures change after a certain event in her questline. After reaching a point in the game, Sellen changes to a new body, but this shift is barely noticeable in her character model. Although she claims her new body feels younger, both versions of the character wear the same covering Raya Lucarian robes and mask, making them all but identical. However, FreddyKrum's work reveals that under the mask, Sellen's new body actually uses new face textures.
