A talented artist and Elden Ring fan has created a whimsical painting of fan-favorite Miriel, Pastor of Vows, better known as the Turtle Pope, and it looks as though it's straight from a children's storybook. Despite only being two months old, Elden Ring has formed a massive fan base and community who are eager to show their love for certain characters. This love and excitement have come in the forms of both art and cosplay from hundreds of fans. One such fan has recently even paid homage to Mirial by creating an amusing cosplay of Elden Ring's Turtle Pope which has gained recognition and praise due to its simple and silly design.
Offering players its knowledge of sorceries and incantations, the Turtle Pope, also known as the Dog amongst its fans, is an NPC that can be found outside the crumbling ruins of the Church of Vows within the universe of Elden Ring's Lands Between. Although Miriel does not play a large role in the game, it is now one of the most recognizable and beloved NPCs. Despite its large appearance, its docile demeanor and holy miter give it a charming and eccentric look that adds a certain amount of lightness amongst the dark and heavy tones set throughout the rest of the game. Although it appears powerful due to its domineering proportions, it will not fight back if attacked which makes players evenmore hesitant to attack Elden Ring's Turtle Pope.
