Elden Ring has received a few updates since launch. Some fixed bosses who were accidentally nerfed; some made things just a little easier for the player. Today’s update falls into the latter category.
Elden Ring update 1.04 is out now on all platforms, and it brings a substantial number of changes to the Soulsborne game. This includes new camera controls and events for everyone’s favorite NPC Patches, along with a heap of bug fixes. The highlights, however, are the buffs for weapons, magic, and Ashes of War. No matter your playstyle, there’s some sort of buff for you in today’s update, it seems. More damage, quicker casting times, and less FP consumption are all on the table.
Note that some of these changes require you to take an additional action like leveling up or re-equipping an item before they take effect. Those are marked in the patch notes — you can read the full list below.
