Bandai Namco has released a new Elden Ring patch which fixes several bugs.
Update 1.04.1, which is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC, fixes an HP bug with Malenia and an issue that caused some bosses to die at unintended times, including Elden Beast.
The update (see full patch notes below) also targets a bug that affected the duration of the Cerulean Hidden Tear.
Elden Ring patch 1.04 was released last week, bringing with it improved game performance and new events in certain NPC questlines.
It enabled players to turn the camera’s auto-rotate function on or off, and added new dialogue phases to the popular Souls NPC, Patches.
Changes were also made to the damage of certain weapons, as well as how long certain magical attacks take to cast.
FromSoftware‘s critically acclaimed action RPG was released on February 25 had cleared 12 million sales by March 14, according to publisher Bandai Namco.
On Monday, market research firm NPD Group said the game had held off competition from new releases Gran Turismo 7 and Kirby and the Forgotten Land to top March’s US software sales chart.
Elden Ring is the top-selling game of 2022 so far in the US and is now the second best-selling title over the 12-month period ending March 2022, trailing only Call of Duty: Vanguard in dollar sales.
