It has been almost 1,000 days since Destiny 2 received its last Crucible map and many fans are anticipating the addition of Disjunction to the PvP rotation. As part of Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted, Disjunction is ending the long drought and with the map comes the potential for unique sightlines, unexpected ambushes, and perfectly timed Super Abilities.
Disjunction joins Rift in the latest Crucible map changes, and it offers a variety of ranges from short to long forDestiny 2 Guardians of all types across the largest Crucible map to date. The Crucible map is set in the swampy Pyramid area of Savathun’s Throne World, and it has a three-lane structure with multiple crossover sections in between for Guardians to dip in to dodge incoming enemies. Destiny 2 players are now able to compete in 6v6, 3v3, and Free-for-all match types in Disjunction with Season of the Haunted after the long wait which may end up being the lengthiest wait for a Crucible map.
Destiny 2 Reveals Solar 3.0 Ability Details
Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted began today, running until August 23, and like previous seasons, it brings with it tons of content in addition to the expected balancing, Season Pass, and bug fixes. On top of the new PvP offerings, Season of the Haunted includes revamps to Solar abilities via Solar 3.0, a scalable activity known as Nightmare Containment, Leviathan Patrol zone, and more. With Destiny 2: Witch Queen being among the most successful releases of the year, many players have already begun delving into what the Season of the Haunted has to offer.
