It's no secret that in the world of gaming, Silent Hill, Half-Life 3, and Hideo Kojima are three of the most discussed subjects. Fans have been waiting anxiously for the next official entry in the Half-Life series since Half-Life 2 was released back in 2004, with little more than player-created mods and the VR spin-off Half-Life Alyx to hold them over. A similar relationship can be seen between the gaming community and the Silent Hill franchise, which Kojima himself was set to reboot before his infamous split with Konami. Because of the immense popularity and icon status of these three subjects, they have seen no shortage of fan art, tributes, and support from the gaming world at large, with Kojima recently being honored with the Japanese Minister's Award for Fine Arts, a sign of his significance in the world of modern media and entertainment.

Game Awards host Geoff Keighley recently shared a series of images created through the AI art program Midjourney, and some of the results are a bit strange and unsettling.
