Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Available for PlayStation 5 and Windows, the game transitions to a third-person perspective and introduces new gameplay elements. Featuring up to four-player cooperative multiplayer with cross-play between platforms, Helldivers 2 incorporates a permanent battle pass system and a narrative set a century after humanity's victory over various threats. As first spotted by Gamesradar, Arrowhead Game Studios' decision to overhaul the Helldivers 2 reward system came via the developer’s Discord server in response to players' reports of delayed and missing medal payouts. Community manager Twinbeard addressed concerns over missing Helldivers 2 Major Orders medals, acknowledging the system's issues, which have been persisting for a considerable period. According to Twinbeard’s statement, medals for two out of the latest three major orders have already been shipped to players. The remaining batch is scheduled to roll out within a specific timeframe, either in 16 hours or at a designated time on April 10th, depending on certain factors.
Moreover, the team admitted that the current system's reliability is inadequate, indicating its lack of dependability and the urgent need for substantial improvements to enable Helldivers 2 players to farm medals properly. «We will also do an overhaul in the future of the system handling these requests, as it's frankly about as reliable as a solar-powered watch in Malevelon Creek,» wrote Twinbeard.
