Blizzard has made one thing clear during their recent Developer Update Livestream — they're pulling out all the stops for Diablo 4, Season 4: Loot Reborn. Alongside a crisp, shiny new Itemization Update, players will be receiving a bunch of fresh, new toys to pay with in the form of brand new Unique Items.
However, players feel as though one such item has been given the short end of the stick — the new Druid Unique, Earthbreaker.
At first glance, it looks like this Unique would be right at home in a Trampleslide build, due to the sheer amount of Landslide casts triggered.
However, players able to get their hands on this item during the PTR discovered that the effect was only working when the skill was self-cast, leading Druid players to question whether or not this was intentional on Blizzard's part. According to Diablo 4's Adam Fletcher, this item is currently working as intended — this ring is only supposed to work when Landslide is cast directly.
Druid players who tested the ring during the PTR have almost unanimously agreed — if Earthbreaker is currently working as intended, it has unfortunately missed the mark.
