A Pokemon fan has recently devised a new Mega Evolution for Forretress. The Pokemon community has many talented artists who have engaged with fan art since the 90s, and this new design shows how talented these fans can be.
Forretress originally debuted in Pokemon Gold and Silver, during the second generation of Pokemon games. This Bug/Steel-type creature evolves from Pineco starting at Level 31, and it has quite a unique design. A few months ago, Matratzfratz also created an interesting artwork regarding another Bug-type creature, coming up with a disrupted evolution for Kakuna. In this alternative evolution, the artist decided to give the Steel subtype to Kakuna. Instead of becoming a Beedril, this creature keeps the old cocoon, has huge metal spikes coming out of its body, and is full of a substance that resembles blood, which makes for a pretty gruesome art piece that is very unlike any official
