World of Warcraft Classic just increased the Season of Discovery experience boost by an additional 50% across all levels. This increase will make leveling in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery even easier for players, whether they are just getting started, catching up, or rolling new characters.
Season of Discovery is the current World of Warcraft Classic experiment that introduces a number of changes to the game, including new raids, gear, and class-altering Runes engravings. Each phase introduces new Runes players can collect, drastically increasing their power and even enabling them to fill party roles normally unavailable to their class, such as Mage Healers and Shaman Tanks.
However, World of Warcraft just made leveling in Season of Discovery even easier. As of the weekly reset on May 7, Discoverer’s Delight – the passive experience boost in WoW Classic Season of Discovery – was dramatically increased. Now, characters gain 150% more experience from all sources up through level 39, which drops to 100% until they reach the current World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery level cap of 50.
Discoverer’s Delight is not new to World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery. With the start of Phase 2, World of Warcraft added a 50% experience boost to all characters under level 25. Later, WoW increased this boost from 50% to 100%, and expanded it all the way through level 39, with the bonus decreasing to 50% between levels 40 and 50. Now, this blanket experience boost has been increased even further.
Fans are happy to see the buff to Discoverer's Delight. While leveling in Season of Discovery is fun, being able to collect Runes and experience the new raids, like WoW Classic Season of Discovery's version of the Sunken Temple, is the most exciting part of the experience, and this Discoverer's Delight increase will help new and returning players catch up to current content, or help fans raise alts to the level cap quicker.
Unfortunately, not all is well in
