Helldivers 2 has kicked off its newest Premium Warbond. Titled Polar Patriots, the new Warbond brings with it a host of new weapons, armours, boosters, and cosmetics. Interestingly, the Polar Patriots Warbond was released after Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johann Pilestedt asked the game’s community whether it should be released rather than delayed.
Pilestedt took to social media platform X to ask Helldivers 2 players whether the Warbond should go live as planned, or if its release should be delayed. Around 73.9 percent of the votes favoured releasing the Polar Patriots Warbond today. Pilestedt decided to ask the game’s community about this because of the game’s recent controversy surrounding PlayStation Network account linking.
The Polar Patriots Warbond brings with it three new primary weapons—AR-61 Tenderizer (assault rifle), SMG-72 Pummeler (SMG), and PLAS-101 Purifier (trap-based gun). The bond is also bring with it the G-13 Incendiary Impact grenade, the P-113 Verdict secondary weapon, and the new Motivational Shocks booster.
The new armour sets in the Warbond go with the polar theme. Light armour wearers can make use of the CW-36 Winter Warrior, medium armour users can use the CW-22 Kodiak, and heavy armour fans can use the CW-4 Arctic Ranger. Along with the new armour, there are also new capes—the Dissident’s Nightmare, Pinions of Everlasting Glory, and Order of the Venerated Ballot.
Helldivers 2 is available on PC and PS5.

out there.
With the negative sentiment around account linking, a concern from the team came up about 'is it tone deaf to release a new (paid) warbond this soon?' and therefore we are putting it to a real vote in true democratic fashion.
So please guide…
