Roguelike hack-and-slash title, Skul: The Hero Slayer, is now out on Android! The action-packed game published by Playdigious on mobile was initially dropped on PC and consoles in 2021. Developed by Southpaw Games, it’s a fresh take on the usual hack-and-slash genre.
The game is about a skull-swapping hero on an epic quest to save the demon king. His name? Skul. So, basically, you step into his bony shoes. He’s a feisty skeleton soldier. Unlike your typical good vs. evil scenario, this game has a fresh twist. You’re actually trying to rescue a ‘demon king’ from his adversaries.
Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action-packed game with bones and spells! Expect rapid-paced action, a melange of obstacles and over 100 characters. It’s also sprinkled with Easter eggs inspired by myths and other legendary games, like the Mummies of Egypt, Dead Cells and the Minotaur of Greece.
Skul: The Hero Slayer also offers a cauldron of character swaps. Defeat enemies, snag their skulls and get yourself some unique powers and styles. There’s also a Dark Mirror Mode for an even more intense challenge. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below!
Skul: The Hero Slayer is priced at $7.99. But if you grab it before June 11th, you’ll get a 10% discount and you’ll only have to shell out $7.19. If fast-paced action, quirky pixel art and an unconventional hero’s journey tickle your fancy, check out the game on the Google Play Store.
And before heading out, check out our other news on other new games on Android. Zynga’s Multiplayer Shooter Star Wars: Hunters Launches Globally.
