Kicking off the summer streaming season, HBO Max has several new movies and TV shows coming to its library in June 2022. While June 2021 marked the debuts of several Warner Bros-owned movies on HBO Max due to the pandemic, June 2022 won’t see the same influx of streaming premieres, though it will see the first-time streaming availability of some of the studio’s recent major releases. Alongside more iconic movies coming to its back catalog and the season premieres of long-anticipated TV shows, HBO Max still has some massive titles arriving in June 2022.
Before June comes around, HBO Max’s May 2022 titles will conclude with the addition of 2022’s Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore on May 30, which marks the film’s streaming debut on the platform. May 2022 also saw the series premieres of The Staircase, The Time Traveler’s Wife, and the season 2 premieres of That Damn Michael Che and the Emmy-winning HBO Max original series Hacks. HBO Max’s May 2022 library also saw the streaming returns and debuts of 2021 movies like The Matrix Resurrections, Dear Evan Hansen, and Old.
