LEGO has revealed a new large-scale Doctor Strange Sanctum Sanctorum set, offering fans the chance to build Stephen Strange's New York residence. Benedict Cumberbatch has played Doctor Stephen Strange since 2016's solo film, appearing in a total of six movies and one television show (the animated What If...?). Most recently, he returned for this May's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The Doctor Strange sequel is set to debut on Disney+ on June 22.
Beginning their partnership in 2012 with sets based on The Avengers, LEGO and Marvel have released many sets centered on Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Taking inspiration from the comics, video games, and the ongoing MCU, Marvel has released collectible Minifigure representations of the heroes of Disney+'s Marvel series and released character-themed mech suits for characters such as Black Panther and Wolverine. There are also replicas of MCU vehicles such as Thanos' (Josh Brolin) Sanctuary II flagship and the Guardians of the Galaxy's Benatar, plus life-size replicas of props like Mjolnir. And following Doctor Strange's latest journey through the multiverse, LEGO plans to release a large-scale set inspired by the Sorcerer Supreme.
