Lego and Nintendo are collaborating once again to expand the range of Super Mario-themed sets with a highly detailed recreation of Bowser.
It's called "The Mighty Bowser(Opens in a new window)" and counts as the largest Lego Super Mario set yet, requiring 2,807 bricks. It's not just big and detailed, though. As the video below demonstrates, Lego included controllable movements and the ability for Bowser to launch fireballs.
The two companies have been working together on new sets since 2020, which gave us the Super Mario 64 Block set and a Luigi's Mansion sets. This new Bowser also has a unique interaction with the digital Mario Lego character for anyone who already picked up one of the original sets that includes him. There's also interactions for the Luigi and Peach characters.
The Might Bowser will be a very tempting buy for both Lego and Nintendo fans, but it's certainly not cheap. Lego will sell it directly(Opens in a new window) via Lego.com on Oct. 1 for $269.99. Select retailers will also offer stock worldwide, but I doubt we'll see the price being lowered simply due to how high demand will be.
