So far, Sony’s fledgling PC strategy has seen mixed results. The earlier conversions, like Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War, came with a degree of novelty which saw them stand out. Subsequent efforts, like Sackboy: A Big Adventure, didn’t possess the same appeal. But one game PC users have been eagerly anticipating is Ghost of Tsushima, and now it’s on its way, with a 16th May release date attached.

Unsurprisingly, that’s prompted a lot of pre-orders on Steam, where at the time of typing it’s the 13th best-selling title on the store front – ahead of releases like Elden Ring, Street Fighter 6, and even the one-time phenomenon Palworld. We’d expect this one to do extremely well.
It’s probably worth mentioning that Nixxes is on porting duties here, so you can likely expect an excellent experience. The title will take advantage of all the latest graphics card bells and whistles, and will support ultrawide monitors and even resolutions of up to 48:9 for those of you with triple monitor setups. Despite being a few years old now, this game is going to look absolutely incredible on high-end computers, there’s no doubt about that.

Nice to see as this will bring Sony more revenue to fund future titles whilst also making their console still necessary to those that don't want to wait 1-2 years to get the games on PC. Even with their games coming to PC (years later) they still sell really well on console beforehand. I think Sony should also drop these games into playstation plus extra the same day they release on PC, so their new releases are to buy only on their console for 2 years and then
