According to industry insider Daniel Richtman (via X), the much-awaited third installment of Deadpool is going to introduce the concept where one specific hero holds the key to that universe’s survival. In simple terms, if that specific hero dies or gets removed from their universe, that entire universe will be done and dusted. It also makes it clear that each universe will have a different hero, meaning there won’t be two Thors or Spider-Mans with this ability in one universe. This is the first time Marvel will be using this concept in its cinematic universe. However, this concept was introduced in the Marvel Comics way earlier and these heroes were known as the nexus beings.
For the uninitiated, Nexus Beings in Marvel Comics are considered to be unique entities with the extraordinary power to influence probability and shape the future.
