During the PlayStation State of Play, Sony finally announced and confirmed it will release in 2025. The sequel is known as and follows a new hero known as Atsu in the area of Mount Yōtei. In a PlayStation Blog post, Sucker Punch confirmed that will take place in 1603, over 300 years after so don't expect any appearance from Jin Sakai.
