Tarisland Season 1, Blight Dragon Elegy, is Coming October 22nd, What to Do Before Launch
Featured in this week’s Steam Next Fest, Tarisland’s first season, Blight Dragon Elegy, is coming October 22nd. The team announced the season launch date with a new teaser and an updated list of things to complete before the season begins.
Before the season had an official launch date, the Tarisland team released a list of season rules, including things that would or would not carry over from Season 0 into Blight Dragon Elegy. Now, they’ve released a full list of what will become unavailable as Season 0 ends and shared a gift code for all. The list includes everything you could possibly earn, so if you’ve been playing, it’s likely that you already unlocked many of these.
The full list includes costumes, mounts, pendants, and portraits to earn through completing various challenges. There are additional rewards from unlocking Reputations, and these also include new pets, emotes, and pendants.
They’ve taken us into deep dives on the dungeons, raids, and theScardino Icefield map itself. And, of course, the name Blight Dragon Elegy isn’t too subtle. There's a frost dragon under the icy plains and that’s been revealed since the season was announced. The trailer hints at who is behind the dark plans that you'll have to fight against and the tragic narrative that led everyone there.
Along with a teaser for the new season, there’s a demo in time for today’s opening of the latest Steam Next Fest. With Tarisland also set to hit Steam on October 22, just in time for the new season, this participation makes sense. With the announcements of late, they’ve even announced a gift code to mark the newest Steam wishlist milestone. Using NEWSEASON1022 will net you 100 Achromatic Crystals in game.
