New World: Aeternum launches on consoles and PC tomorrow, and players can preload on consoles now to prep for the servers opening tomorrow. Meanwhile the team detailed some last minute changes to PvP and more ahead of tomorrow's launch.
Console preloading is available now, though PC players will have to wait to update their client while the servers are down later on tonight. Amazon states this is to help preserve stealthy PvP gameplay, while your turn speed while using target lock will also be slowed, which Amazon says should help with tracking and means «homing attacks will miss more often on a moving target.»
For those who like the Blunderbuss, the Amazon Games team has reduced its damage in PvP, though it notes it's just temporary.
