Pokemon has been gradually adding to its Squishmallows collection two plushes at a time, and Dragonite and Marill will be the next Pokemon to get the Squishmallow treatment as they have now been confirmed to release this summer. While it seems to have a handle on the stock/demand balance now, Pokemon didn't anticipate just how popular its Squishmallows would be to begin with. This is the latter, and since it was a part of that initial wave of Pokemon Squishmallows, it's a lot harder to find in stock than the winking version which was released after Pokemon realized how many people are desperate to own plushes from this collection.
The iconic mascot of the Pokemon series of course had to be made into a Squishmallow. Pikachu's round, adorable design was just meant to be meant to be transformed into a cuddly, huggable Squishmallow, mimicking the Pokemon's original
