It’s Gamescom Opening Night Live time. Set to cover two hours of fresh announcements for games new and old, here’s what time it starts, where to watch it, and which games to expect.
Taking place on the typical Tuesday before the Gamescom show floor opens to the public, ONL 2024, hosted by Geoff Keighley and Sjokz, could include guest stars on top of potential news on hotly anticipated titles like Death Stranding 2 and GTA 6.

This year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live is confirmed to be two hours long.
A pre-show stream hosted by Kyle Bosman kicks off 30 minutes before the start of Opening Night Live with “additional new game announcements.”

Games confirmed to appear during the Gamescom ONL 2024 show include:
A new game from Tarsier Studios (the developers of Little Nightmares) is confirmed to be shown.
A project from Hideo Kojima‘s Kojima Productions studio has been heavily hinted at, with teases for what could be something from Techland‘s Dying Light franchise also making its way onto the ONL socials.
It has been confirmed that Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight: Silksong will not be part of the show.
The Gamescom 2024 show floor is open to the public from August 22–25. Press, trade, and Wildcard ticket holders can access the event from Wednesday, August 21.
