Edward and Alphonse Elric battle Scar in an extended look from the new Fullmetal Alchemist live-action movie trailer. The two-part FMA sequel, Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter, is fast approaching theaters in Japan with The Avenger Scar set to be released on May 20 and The Last Transmutation on June 24. The two-part finale is a follow-up to the 2017 live-action adaptation of the internationally popular manga and its two anime adaptations, and FMA: Final Chapter will cover the Elric brothers' final journey in their quest for the legendary philosopher's stone to restore their bodies. Before Ed and Al can use the stone, they must survive threats from Scar, a killer targeting alchemists, and the mysterious Father and his homunculi.
The Elric brothers have many enemies to face in Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter, but the focus of the movie's latest trailer is Scar. Warner Bros. uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming sequel which gives an extended look at Scar confronting Ed and Al. The scene is a critical moment from the animes when the Elric brothers find themselves outclassed in a battle by someone who has not seen the Gate of Truth for the first time. The rest of the trailer teases more clashes between Scar, Ed and Al, the homunculi, and more FMA characters. Check out the trailer below:
