After nearly eight years in publication and 354 issues, the super popular, and genre-expanding manga My Hero Academia has begun its final story arc. To hype My Hero Academia's upcoming end in late 2022, creator Koei Horikoshi and publisher Shueisha have released a new promo video highlighting the scariest members of the manga's cast.
Since its first issue dropped in July 2014, My Hero Academia has been one of the most popular and engaging manga around. It tells the story of Izuku Midoriya, or as he is more popularly known, Deku, one of the few people born without a special power but who was ultimately gifted the world's greatest power by the former top hero of the world, Deku and his classmates struggle to understand and control their powers at U.A. High School, a school focused on turning the best and brightest of society into the best heroes they can be to guarantee another stellar cohort of young professional heroes to battle against those who would use their powers to rob, beat, and steal from others. The manga is wildly successful, with the hero All Might even crossing over with Marvel's Deadpool.
