The Courtship: Nicole Offers Advice About Finding Love Amid Breakup
Although Nicole Rémy's engagement to Daniel Bochicchio from The Courtship has ended, she offered advice about finding love and looked to her own future with hope. Nicole, a 26-year-old software engineer and former professional cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks from Lakewood, Washington, traveled to England to try to find love according to the customs of the Regency Era. When Nicole first met Daniel, or Danny B as she nicknamed him on the show, she felt an instant connection. There were literal fireworks during their first kiss on their first date. Danny, a 31-year-old real estate agent from Staten Island, New York, had doubts about falling in love and getting engaged so quickly, but he did express that he was developing real feelings for Nicole.
Danny shocked Nicole with a proposal on The Courtship season finale, and she was thrilled to say yes. However, after the finale, fans began to speculate about them splitting up because they were silent about their relationship. A week after the finale aired, in an interview with E! News, Nicole announced that Danny broke up with her a little over a month after filming. Although her feelings for him remained the same after the show wrapped, Nicole revealed that Danny told her that, after The Courtship ended, he felt differently about her and no longer felt as though she was the one.
