Ever since Frozen 2's release, its directors and cast have been asked about the possibility of a Frozen 3 movie. The first Frozen experienced an unanticipated level of success as millions of children worldwide listened to Elsa's anthem «Let It Go» on repeat. The hype still had not died down by the time Frozen 2 came out six years later, and even though several years have passed since then, the movie's actors still field questions about potential Frozen 3 updates.
Although there have been no official updates on Frozen 3, the Frozen franchise has remained busy nonetheless. In addition to its two feature-length films, Disney released the Frozen Fever and Olaf Presents shorts, adapted Frozen into a Broadway show, and even released a music video for an Anna/Elsa duet cut from the sequel movie. These projects have proven that the Frozen fanbase is not only alive but thriving and continues to eagerly await any news about a third movie.

Yet, even if such an announcement were to come, Frozen 3 likely would not be released for some time.
