Kim Wexler has made her long-awaited exit from Better Call Saul — what happens to Rhea Seehorn's character now? By far the most important addition Better Call Saul makes to Jimmy McGill's backstory, however, is Kim Wexler — a friend and colleague who gradually turns into a lover and, quite literally, a partner in crime.
Over the course of Better Call Saul's six seasons, Jimmy and Kim's relationship reaches an almost unassailable unity, which is weird because Kim Wexler isn't seen or mentioned whatsoever during Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul faced the unenviable task of explaining why Kim disappeared, and after dancing around the issue for years, season 6, episode 9 («Fun & Games») finally goes there.
