Forza Horizon 5 seems to have crossed a major milestone with few noticing. According to Insider Gaming, Twitter user Idle Sloth noticed through the in-game leaderboards that Forza Horizon 5 had seen 30 million players.
While the player numbers are impressive, it is worth keeping in mind that the leaderboard tracks every single player that might have ever played the game, rather than only currently-active players.
For the sake of context, Forza Horizon 5 crossed its first major milestone of 10 million players in its first week of released. It then saw that number rise up to 20 million players over the course of seven months. Back in February, the leaderboards had indicated a total player count of 28 million players.
Back in March, Forza Horizon 5 saw the release of its latest expansion—Rally Adventure. The expansion, as its name implies, revolves around rally racing, and features off-road tracks as well as dirt races throughout its region.
The expansion also brings with it the Horizon Rally Helicopter, which provides co-driver callouts in true rally racing tradition. Players can also grab new rally parts and body kits as part of the expansion. For more details, check out our review of Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure.
(FYI) Forza Horizon 5 has hit over 30 million players, in just 18 months after release!
