Epic Games usually releases Fortnite content updates on Tuesday, but this week it was different, as it seems an anticipated Creative mode feature will be added to the game very soon. On March 10, Fortnite fans welcomed a new futuristic era of the game with the start of Chapter 4 Season 2. Most players were excited by what they saw, especially the new Fortnite Battle Pass, but since then it seems that things have quieted down a fair bit.
Tuesday, March 21 was the expected date for the first proper update of Chapter 4 Season, but this was quickly proven to be untrue with a tweet from Epic Games that announced it would instead be released on Monday, and the servers would be down for a while, meaning players could most likely look forward to an update with a decent amount of content. Gamers found it odd when leakers reported that no new cosmetic items or quests were being added Fortnite with the patch, especially given the fact that the update was over 1 GB on all platforms.
Resident Evil and Fortnite Meet Again in Epic Crossover
Fortnite update 24.01 was reportedly released in order to add the required files for the upcoming Unreal Editor for Fortnite feature, also known as Creative 2.0. This tool can be wishlisted on the Epic Games Store; using it community creators will be able to design and develop their own games and put them into Fortnite. It will be published Wednesday, March 22, around 12 PM ET, and those that have already downloaded this new patch now have everything ready for its release.
Rumors hint that this revamped Creative mode will be a game-changer for all community creators, particularly because they will no longer depend on the Support-a-Creator program in order to be compensated for their creations;
