ArcheAge’s spring update is here, and there is some new content, a new Erenor accessories tier, a series of improvements, and events.
Much of the update is focused on improvements and fixes, but there are some new features and tweaks intended to make things more enjoyable. One of these is a brand new quest that you can only accept if you have an active “Don’t Give Up” buff. This quest is an effort to help those players on smaller or less-skilled factions to be able to complete the daily quest goal over in Hiram Rift. They’ve gotten rid of quest grouping caps, so you can accept more quests without running into limits, as the categories have been merged. Brilliant Erenor accessories have been added, as the next tier after Radiant Erenor accessories.
ArcheAge has reopened the Skyfin Nest Arena, this time as its own separate instance. The Fall of Hiram City has also been improved, with a changed entry time and a shorter duration. There’s also one mode now, so the whole thing got streamlined. The Great Prairie of the West got a significant change too, as there will be no more Peace time. The region will always be a Conflict region, with War status during Guardian Scramble times.
Following previous adjustments to improve the player experience, UI, and even the environment, there are adjustments to these in here too. Other changes have a more practical purpose. There was a rendering issue where some NPCs would disappear when there were too many players in the same region doing quest content. Some areas got fixes, with more to follow. You’ll also no longer be able to put plants in certain areas, so they don’t disrupt gameplay.
To accompany the new update, there are some events. The ArcheLand event lets level 55+ players
