The Realme GT 2 Pro is the latest and greatest Realme phone the company has sold in India so far. However, Realme is also planning two new models for India that could help the compamy establish its presence in the premium smartphone space. And one of them might feature the 150W wired charging solution, which could beat the 120W charging solution to be the fastest charging phones in India at the moment. The Realme GT 2 was also confirmed to come to India over the next few months.
The biggest attention seeker is the Realme GT Neo 3, which was launched in China a while ago. Teased on social media by Realme’s Madhav Sheth, the Realme GT neo 3 is a device that features the 150W fast charging solution. The phone is expected to succeed the Realme GT Neo 2 that had launched late last year. However, a doubt looms over the 150W charging feature for the Indian market, given that new technologies often take time to arrive in India.
The Realme GT Neo 3 comes in two variants in China. One has the faster 150W charging solution that promises a 0-50 percent charge in 5 minutes! There is also a regular version that comes with the 80W charging solution that we have already seen on the Oppo Find X5 Pro and some other devices.
The GT Neo 3 otherwise has a tempting feature set, comprising of the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, up to 12GB RAM, a 50MP main camera, a 4500mAh battery amd a Android 12 based Realme UI 3.
The Realme GT 2, on the other hand, is a watered-down version of the Realme GT 2 Pro. The GT 2 gets the lesser Snapdragon 888 chip, a 50MP IMX766 OIS main rear camera, a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging, and a 120Hz AMOLED display. The phone also gets the same paper tech Master design we saw on the Realme
