Realme is going all in on its GT series! After launching its flagship Realme GT 2 Pro a while ago, Realme is now coming in with the GT Neo 3 – one of possibly the most anticipated smartphones in India this year. Supposed to be the successor to the GT Neo 2 launched last November, the GT Neo 3 is bringing two major upgrades to the phone despite leaving the design largely unchanged. In fact, the biggest upgrade is supposed to be the 150W charging system, which is the highest rated charging tech in any smartphone.
Realme has now confirmed the launch date for the same in India. The Realme GT Neo 3 will be announced officially on April 29 via an online event at 12:30 pm. Realme has been advertising only 150W charging feature in India, which could hint at the company skipping the 80W charging model. Realme is also bringing the “Le Mans” blue variant as well. And while the fast-charging tech is only advertised, the phone is coming with some other great upgrades over its predecessors.
The headline feature on the Realme GT Neo 3 is the 150W charging solution, which promises a 0-50 percent charge in 5 minutes. Realme does not state the 0-100 percent charge times, but that is something e can find in our full review.
Other than that, the GT Neo 3 is also said to bring the much-hyped MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. On paper, the 8100 offers the same levels of performance as the Snapdragon 888 from last year. This should offer a massive leap in performance over the Snapdragon 870 from the GT Neo 2.
Another upgrade comes in the form of the display. The GT Neo 3 also gets a new 6.7-inch 2K display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 1000Hz. The phone could also bring up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1
