Ahead of tomorrow's panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Insomniac Games has shared a first full look at Venom's design in Spider-Man 2 outside of concept art, as well as going into detail about his creation and Tony Todd's involvement with the character.
We've known for some time now that Venom is going to be one of the main villains of Spider-Man 2 alongside Kraven the Hunter, but we've seen very little of him aside from a brief tease at the end of the reveal trailer and a shot of him fighting Peter and Miles in some concept art of the game. That still hasn't stopped Insomniac from revealing some key details about the character and starting the theories up over who is going to be his host, but it's now finally shown off his full in-game design.

Our first full look at Venom in-game comes courtesy of a report by Entertainment Weekly that was released as a preview of what's going to be shown at San Diego Comic-Con tomorrow. Before we dive into some of the background details of how Venom came to be in the game, let's first discuss the screenshot showing his design, which is suitably gooey, scary, and full of teeth. He's pretty much how you expect Venom to look, but props to Insomniac for making him look like a big muscle-y ball of goo.
