Following rumors that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is releasing as add-ons to last year’s Modern Warfare 2, Activision has announced Call of Duty HQ. It serves as “one access point” for all future content. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Warzone, and Modern Warfare 3 are confirmed to be included.
Call of Duty HQ allows players to “navigate all their content in one place” and make it easier to choose the desired “game and modes.” Other highlights the publisher is excited about include anti-toxicity plans for Ricochet Anti-Cheat and a roadmap for post-launch seasons. While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 receives an official reveal today, more details for all this will be provided in the weeks leading up to its release.
It’s out on November 10th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with current-gen consoles yet to be confirmed (but expected, given previous years’ entries). Not much is known about this year’s entry, save for the return of Makarov as the villain, the apparent return of Zombies, and rumors of Modern Warfare 2 (2009)’s maps being remastered for multiplayer. Stay tuned in the meantime.
