Final Fantasy XVI has been confirmed to finally be in the works on PC, and it seems like it may not be exclusive to the Epic Games Store like Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was.
Speaking on the ResetERA forums, VG247 Features Editor APZonerunner revealed that the PC version is not going to be an Epic Games Store exclusive like other Square Enix PC ports released in the past few years, which include the aforementioned Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the Kingdom Hearts series ports, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins, NEO: The World Ends With You and others. Also, some of the announced DLC will not be an epilogue and will further flesh out the world in the middle of the story, in the vein of the Final Fantasy XV downloadable expansions.
As both the Final Fantasy XVI PC port and the DLC are not releasing in the immediate future, things could change, so we should take this information with a grain of salt until Square Enix provides more details on both.
Final Fantasy XVI is now available on PlayStation 5 worldwide. You can learn more about the latest entry in the series by checking out Kai's review.

What begins with kingdom-wide subterfuge and destruction ends with a world forever changed and the player, as Clive Rosfield and Ifrit together, are the driving force to see it all through until the end.
