Warside is a fast-paced 2D tactical strategy game that immediately evokes Nintendo's excellent Advance Wars series or the fantastic Wargroove (not to be confused with the unfortunately-named Wargasm, which is, as we all know, a 3D strategy game). It's planned for launch in 2024 and will be available on both PS5 and PS4.
Warside will boast a single-player campaign, multiplayer support for both local and online play, and a built-in map editor, allowing for the creation of your own, likely poorly-balanced home-made maps. With 12 playable Commanders (each with their own unique passives and Battle Power), 25 unit types, and a campaign with over 30 missions across a variety of biomes, it's becoming an increasingly appealing proposition.
What do you think of Warside? Are you a fan of this specific style of turn-based strategy game popularised by Advance Wars? Think a full three steps of your enemies in the comments section below.

«evokes»??? That's just a straight-up copy.
How can this kind of thing even be possible ?
Wow that is blatant.
'not to be confused with the unfortunately-named Wargasm..'
Why do you say that? It stands for War Ground Air Special Missions, made in 1998, back when people didn't find fault in stuff for no reason.
Advance Wars 3? oh sorry… Definitely interested.
