FIFA 23 featuring women's professional football clubs for the first time is a significant step for representation in the monumental EA Sports series, but these additions also have a major impact on gameplay. The newly revealed HyperMotion2 technology is bringing something of a revolution to the feel of FIFA, particularly in its focus on delivering an authentic representation of the women's game. FIFA 23 players on current-gen consoles and PC will be afforded the opportunity to experience an entirely novel side of gameplay because of the advancements made in adapting women's professional soccer.

It may also be responsible for FIFA 23's crossplay compatibility between platforms, where PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC are separated from PS4 and Xbox One. HyperMotion2, FIFA 23's motion-capture-fueled animation technology, will only be available on PC and current-gen systems, meaning the more impressive version of the new women's clubs is also unavailable to those who haven't upgraded their console.
