Believe it or not, Far Cry 5 is about to turn five this month, and Ubisoft is celebrating with a new update, free weekend, and more. While Far Cry 5 isn’t the most recent entry in the open-world action franchise, most people consider it a better entry than Far Cry 6 and the game maintains a healthy playerbase to this day. As such, many have been hoping for a next-gen console update that would at least let you play the game at a higher framerate. But perhaps you’ve never played Far Cry 5? Well, next weekend the game will be free to play on all platforms. If you find yourself enjoying your time, you’ll be able to buy the game for 85 percent off during the weekend. By the way, if you want to get a jump on that Far Cry 5 deal, the game is already 85 off via the Steam Spring Sale.
