Believe it or not, Far Cry 5 is about to turn five this month, and Ubisoft is celebrating with a new update, free weekend, and more.
While Far Cry 5 isn’t the most recent entry in the open-world action franchise, most people consider it a better entry than Far Cry 6 and the game maintains a healthy playerbase to this day.
As such, many have been hoping for a next-gen console update that would at least let you play the game at a higher framerate.
Well, developer Ubisoft Toronto has delivered just that, with a new 60fps patch for Far Cry 5 that you can download for free now.
