How Much Can You Realistically Make Right Now?It's one of those questions often asked and people are curious about reported earnings from other players and quite how they do it?
Is it really possible to farm 50k gold hour? and if so how difficult is it? my youtube has started to show some farm videos and some are obvious clickbaits, so I wanted to know from people who actually play the game aiming to farm.Disregarding the often returned comment of «just work an extra shift», this is about making gold in the game, a pastime many find fun and rewarding focusing on the gold element. The reality is that timing is everything. At this point in an expansion, pickings are incredibly slim from the perspective of farming.
Base herbs and Ores are at rock bottom prices and demand is low, same for skinning and meat/fish. Old world transmog is possible, but it's a slow process of building inventory and selling over time. Not a guaranteed figure per hour as it relies heavily on luck. No, no farm is 50k gold an hour unless you're cheesing the numbers by factoring in a random mog drop that hypothetically goes for 950k that no one will buy. I've found that the most effective money-for-effort sales are running old-world dungeons and listing the mogs on my bank toon.
