Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of February 20, 2023 to February 26, 2023.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe for Switch was the highest selling new release last week, opening at 189,031 retail copies sold.
It was followed by Like a Dragon: Ishin!, which opened at 35,897 copies sold on PlayStation 4 and 31,439 copies on PlayStation 5, for an opening week total of 67,336 copies sold.
Also in the top 10 is Octopath Traveler II, which opened at 53,995 sales on Switch and 14,422 sales on PlayStation 5 for a total of of 68,417 copies sold.
On the hardware side, the PlayStation 5 family sold 91,729 units, the Switch family sold 61,384 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,646 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 727 units.
