Ewan McGregor shared a story about his stunt double breaking his front teeth during the filming of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. In the Star Wars prequel trilogy, McGregor played Obi-Wan Kenobi, a younger version of the character portrayed in the original trilogy by Sir Alec Guinness. The master Jedi who would go on to train young Luke Skywalker was also the mentor to his father Anakin, who would grow up to become the fearsome Sith Lord known as Darth Vader.
McGregor's tenure in the role began in The Phantom Menace, which saw himself and his own mentor Qui-Gon Jin (Liam Neeson) meeting Anakin as a young boy.Attack of the Clones took place some years later and follows Kenobi on a troubling investigation that leads him to meet Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison). Revenge of the Sith solidified Anakin's path to the dark side, and now Disney+'s new series Obi-Wan Kenobi, which premiered on May 27, is following their stories even further as Obi-Wan exiles himself to Tatooine to watch over young Luke Skywalker.
