Warning! Spoilers ahead for Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi may have more than six episodes, Ewan McGregor teases. Star Wars premiered its latest streaming series that sees the return of McGregor as the fan-favorite Jedi. Aside from him, Obi-Wan Kenobi also features Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, as well as the debut of Moses Ingram's Reva who is the show's primary villain.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi show has been years in the making, and even after it was officially announced, production and development weren't exactly smooth sailing. Just as it was about to start production, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy ordered an overhaul, resulting in writer Joby Harold taking over Hossein Amini as the project's writer and changes to Obi-Wan Kenobi's story. During this time, the show's story was altered and Darth Vader's return was decided upon. Considering how long fans had to wait for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Lucasfilm decided to premiere it several hours earlier than scheduled but it may not be the only surprise they have up their sleeves.
