Among the new releases coming in 2024 are the new and to make it easier than ever to start playing. Those hoping to dive straight into creating new encounters will have to wait a little longer, until February 18, 2025, for the to be released. This revised looks set to have an even greater selection of foes for adventuring parties to face off against and provide more options for all levels of play.
Kicking off the year will be, a new campaign for starting at level 10 and taking the party all the way through to level 20. There are a lack of high level adventures in, and looks set to fill that gap wonderfully in a multiverse-spanning adventure. While the party will start out in the traditional setting of the Forgotten Realms, as the story unfolds, they will find themselves traveling to other worlds such as Eberron, Dragonlance, Planescape and Greyhawk as they attempt to track down the terrifying Vecna.
Giving one of the most iconic villains his own adventure campaign during the 50th anniversary year is a smart move. Thanks to featuring Vecna, the nefarious lich is more well known than ever and this Plane-hopping adventure can act as the perfect gateway to other settings for newer players. As the Whispered One attempts to bend the multiverse to his will and destroy existence, it will be up to the party to team up with legendary heroes to stop him in .
As reaches its 50th birthday, is a great way to kick off
