Ubisoft Massive has released two updates for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora this month, introducing several improvements to combat and exploration in the open world game while also fixing artifacts that appeared when using AMD FSR 3 on PC. Here's an overview shared by the development team:
- Increased maximum Direhorse riding speed
- Harvest while riding - It is now possible to harvest Arrow Stick Bushes and Dapophet Pods while riding a Direhorse.
- Direhorse aiming improved - Improved aiming with bows while mounted.
- Access stash while crafting - Stashed items can now be accessed directly when using the
- Crafting Table, Cooking Station and Community Basket.
- Increased stash size - Stash capacity has been increased from 200 to 250.
- Improved time skip - Added the time of day in the prompt text when interacting with the Fire Pit to pass time.
- Improved haptics - Several improvements to haptic effects throughout Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
- More reliable weakpoints - Increased the hitbox size of the AMP Suits' vent weak spots so they’re easier to hit while remaining in stealth.
- Improved stealth detection - Slowed down the time it takes for an enemy unit to alert the rest of the nearby units of the player's presence.
- Quicker return to stealth - Made tweaks to stealth gameplay to make it easier to return to stealth when an enemy spots the player.
- Improved reinforcements calling - Made tweaks to enemy reinforcement calling to make it easier to interrupt the RDA from pressing the alarm. Only one enemy unit can call for reinforcements at any given time.
- Made Easy difficulty even easier - Made the combat challenge on Medium and Low difficulties more accessible.
There are also new motion blur settings to control the effect's intensity, and the PC benchmark is now more accurate.
