Eternal Strands, the debut game from Yellow Brick Games, now has a release date and you will not have to wait much longer for it. Eternal Strands will be available on January 28th, and it will be coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass. Yellow Brick Studios has also revealed a partnership with Square Enix’s Creative Studio III for some free post launch content.
Jeff Skalski, COO and Executive Producer at Yellow Brick Games said, “As a long-time fan of Square Enix and the games Creative Studio III have made under the helm of Naoki Yoshida, member of Square Enix’s board of directors, and studio head of Creative Studio III, this is a dream come true for all of us here at Yellow Brick Games. To first have the opportunity to create our own original fantasy IP and then have the chance to work with the Creative Studio III team to further enrich it with all-new content is just a once in a lifetime moment. As an independent studio working on our first game, we will forever be thankful to them. I can’t wait for the players to experience the new cool designs from the master artist Yusuke Mogi when our first free post-launch update for Eternal Strands arrives in the spring of 2025.”
Eternal Strands’ story puts players in the shoes of Brynn, a Weaver on a mission to push back the Surgeborn and reclaim her people’s home. Brynn has access to magical abilities and weapons to aid in her fight that will take her across expansive world of the Enclave where everything can be explored. Players will be able to climb mountains and create paths using magic. It is a world fraught with dangers and giant enemies, which are seen in the above trailer.
The voice cast for Eternal Strands was also confirmed:
Eternal Strands will voice acting in English and French, with subtitles for Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and German.
