Elden Ring – Version 1.12 Adds Option to Summon Torrent in Final Battle
With Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree out soon (or now, depending on your region), FromSoftware has released patch notes for Version 1.12. Applicable to the base game, it adds five new hairstyles, carrying over active Summoning Pools to New Game Plus and a new tab for Recent Items to better sort through new loot.
However, there are some rather interesting new features. Arabic language is supported, and crafted consumables used in Colosseum fights will be replenished afterwards. Perhaps the best new change is the option to summon Torrent, your spectral steed, during the final battle. Though it may not make a difference now with the expansion’s imminent launch, it’s a welcome feature.
Other quality-of-life changes include Ashes of War Skills denoting the amount of FP consumed on use in your inventory and gestures taking less time to cancel by rolling. There are also various bug fixes, improved multiplayer stability “under certain circumstances,” and so on. Check out some of the patch notes below and full details here.
